The location of Catlins Area Motel is fantastic and peaceful, making it convenient for exploring the Catlins area. It is conveniently close to the grocery store, pubs, cafes, and many major attractions in the Catlins, including the 3 main waterfall walks. - Owaka, the gateway to the Catlins, is also easily accessible from the motel, making it a great base for exploring the region.

The hotel with fairly quiet and surprisingly spacious rooms, in a lovely area, close to four square.

Huge room and spotless with comfy bed. Location is LOVELY, close to the Catlins area, shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. - Really close to Catlins waterfalls.

Loved our 5 nights stay. the room was brand-new and generous-sized, including a huge bathroom with a separate toilet. heating. - Perfect location. - the staff were helpful. - Had a very relaxing time.

It was wonderful stay, I didn't want to say goodbye and would like to go back there again. Everything was excellent, convenient location really close to the supermarket, which is open until 8 pm, and rural New Zealand, fantastic friendly staff. Apartment was huge and spotless had electric blankets. The bed was very clean and there were a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a dishwasher.

Enjoyed a quick stopover here and had a great time. the bright apartment we stayed in was lovely, with a separate bedroom and a super comfy bed. We also liked that it had all the crockery and cutlery we needed. 🌟

I recently stayed at a motel in the Catlins area and I must say, it was truly fantastic. the value for money was outstanding. The prices were very reasonable considering the spaciousness of the rooms and the attention to detail throughout. Secondly, the location was perfect. Just off the main road on a quiet street amongst greenery, it provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the staff were attentive and friendly, providing excellent service. Lastly, the rooms themselves were exceptional. They had all the basic amenities one would need, including cooking facilities and a comfy bed. The highlight for me was the huge bathroom with a separate toilet, perfect for traveling as a family or group.

Honestly, I couldn't find a single fault during my stay. Everything was just perfect.
